DESCRIPTION:The Buck Hill Art Association is proud to present it’s annual House and Garden tour on Saturday July 26\, 2025 from 10am-2pm. Tickets for the House and Garden tour can be purchased here or at the Tennis Tea Circle starting at 9:45am.  All ticket holders must stop by the Tennis Tea to pick up a bracelet\, map and details of the Houses and Gardens on the tour.\n\nTickets for H&G are $50ea – 100% of all proceeds go towards Art Association programming\, including student scholarships\, art conservation\, free classes for members and more.\n\nThe tour is paired with our Gourmet Table\, also at the Tennis Tea\, featuring delicious offerings prepared by BHF’s culinary talents\, Vivian Azer and Amy Peabody\, along with an array of outstanding dishes and desserts from other talented Buck Hill chefs. SUMMARY:Art Class: Collage Cards with Aaron Krach
DESCRIPTION:Rocks\, words\, booze\, broken toys\, plants\, decoys owls and lost earrings. Stuff. Aaron Krach works with stuff he finds\, collects\, rearranges\, and combines. He isolates\, remixes and re-frames to reveal what is overlooked\, highlight what is too-often missed\, and ask questions. \nWhere are we going? What is freedom? Who am I? \nHe has hired a hustler to make paintings with a frog and collaborated with gay soldiers in Afghanistan. Aaron combines accessible materials with existing distribution methods to create art that can spread far beyond him. You can find work work in galleries\, but more often on a billboard\, in a newspaper\, or in your mailbox. \nAaron is a two-time recipient of a Lower Manhattan Cultural Grant for Public Art and a Puffin Foundation Grant. His books are in the libraries of major museums including The Whitney Museum of American Art\, the Museum of Modern Art\, New York\, and The Museum of Contemporary Art Barcelona. His first novel\, “Half-Life\,” was published by Alyson Books. \nHe currently teaches art and design at Parsons\, The New School for Design. \nPlease Bring Magazines and Books to Pull Material From.
