Explore, experiment and acknowledge the beauty of the native plants around you by incorporating them into a one-of-a-kind weaving/wall hanging. Textile and Fiber artist Carolyn Harper invites you to find the beauty in both the simplicity and complexity of natural forms and using these forms to push the boundaries of what woven art can be.

This summer, BHAA brought back its artist-in-residence program with artist and photographer Daniel Tchetchik. His works are part of collections of several museums, galleries and private collections and he’s staff photographer and chief editor of the photography blog at Haaretz Newspaper.

Aaron Krach works with stuff he finds, collects, rearranges, and combines. He isolates, remixes and re-frames to reveal what is overlooked, highlight what is too-often missed, and ask questions.

Join art teacher Luigi Cicala and learn a three-part approach to developing techniques for watercolor that can be learned in a day and practiced for a lifetime.

Join artist and cottager Nathalie Warriner for a uniquely special Art Experience! Learn to create traditional Mexican "Nicho" Boxes, which are traditionally intended as small shrines for protection or devotion. Attendees will choose from a myriad of design elements and unique offerings to create a pocket altar, or sacred box, with a theme of your choosing.
